Biofuels leader XcelPlus Global Holdings continues its steady growth, tripling its deliveries in the first week of August, compared to the same period in July.
"XcelPlus Global Holdings is growing exponentially in delivery volumes," said company president J. Michael Parsons. "In fact, new business and new customer development in the first week of August have already exceeded all of July," he added.
The deliveries indicate a growing demand for green fuel, spurred by government mandates. "We are targeting the very largest consumers of industrial fuel in the U.S., and have had excellent uptake from the construction and paving industries," Parsons added.
The company is currently serving five multi-plant customers, operating from three strategically located distribution terminals.
"Despite heavy rains which continue to limit our customers' activity in the Southeast, we are on pace for the second week of August to equal or exceed the first week," Parsons stated. "We expect August as a whole to far surpass July in overall volume."
XcelPlus Global continues to expand its distribution network and seek alliances in product supply and distribution. "Our business model has the potential to increase the top and bottom lines for producers of biodiesel, and we hope to align ourselves with new sources who can help meet the demand, as well as provide distribution capacity," Parsons stated.
