The SATELLAI Tracker, crafted for outdoor enthusiasts, excels in environments such as camping or hiking. It is the first device to utilize satellite communication for pet tracking, featuring the advanced Qualcomm 9205S Modem. Visitors to CES can see this cutting-edge technology on display at the Qualcomm booth.
This tracker employs the 3GPP Rel17 5G IoT-NTN satellite system powered by the Qualcomm MDM9205 Modem and Aware platform, enabling seamless connectivity even in areas without terrestrial cellular networks. Collaborating with Skylo, the SATELLAI Tracker is operational across more than 680 global networks in over 180 countries.
Built to endure unpredictable outdoor conditions, the tracker features a solar panel for sustained recharging, along with a battery life of up to seven days on a full charge. It is lightweight and integrates into a padded harness designed for maximum comfort and mobility, ensuring a hassle-free experience for pets.
The SATELLAI Smart Dog Collar expands its functionality to both indoor and outdoor use. Leveraging a dual antenna and multi-constellation satellite positioning, the collar offers precise tracking capabilities, even in areas with limited connectivity where traditional GPS collars fall short.
Powered by Mapbox's advanced mapping technology, the collar simplifies virtual boundary creation, allowing users to establish overlapping or nested fences. Supporting areas up to 100,000 acres, this feature ensures that pets can roam freely while staying within designated zones. Beyond location tracking, the AI-driven collar monitors activity levels and provides health recommendations to maintain optimal pet wellness. It also incorporates behavior management features such as vibrations and auditory signals.
Designed for durability, the SATELLAI Collar boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, ensuring it can withstand harsh conditions like rain, mud, or swimming. Unlike many competing products with limited battery life, the collar offers up to seven days of operation after just a two-hour charge, ensuring uninterrupted playtime.
"Around 10% of all pet dogs will be lost every year in the United States," said Mark Mao, Founder and CEO of SATELLAI. "To make sure that our beloved companions return home safely, the SATELLAI Tracker and the SATELLAI Collar use satellite and AI technologies to accurately relay their positions and status at all times. They're designed to be durable, weather resistant, and comfortable, so your pets will love to wear them, too."
The SATELLAI Tracker and Collar will be available in early 2025.
