Wi2Wi Announces New W2SG0006 GPS Module
San Jose CA (SPX) Jun 16, 2009 Wi2Wi has announced the new enhanced W2SG0006, which is a complete systems solution based on the CSR/SiRF Technologies SiRFStar III LPx architecture designed specifically for embedded products such as personal navigation devices, mobile internet devices (MID), ultra-mobile (UMPC) and ruggedized PCs, automotive aftermarket GPS systems and other medical, industrial, and defense systems that feature GPS capability. Its low operating current of only 30 milli-amps, ultra-fast Time-To-First-Fix, internal battery back-up RAM for position memory, small form factor, and high receive sensitivity make it ideally suited for such applications. As a complete radio receiver solution requiring minimal external components, it allows quick and easy integration into most applications.
