RF NEULINK Receives Contract To Support US Marine's IGRS Program
San Diego CA (SPX) Feb 21, 2008 RF INDUSTRIES' RF Neulink Telemetry Division today announced it has been awarded an initial $335,000 Contract to support the United States' Marine Corps' Integrated GPS Radio System (IGRS). Robert White, Neulink's Sales and Marketing Director, said, "The IGRS is an advanced personnel tracking system which will provide the USMC with GPS-based real-time tracking, position and status information for personnel engaged in battlefield activities. We hope to announce further contracts for this project later this year." RF Industries also announced that its RadioMobile Division received a $138,000 Add-on contract from London, England-based Dial-a-Cab for 100 mobile data transceivers with GPS enabling software. The contract includes additional RF base stations and an upgrade to two remote RF base stations for TCP/IP network connectivity. James Moore, RadioMobile's General Manager, said, "This add-on contract is part of a long-term strategic plan co-developed with Dial-a-Cab to support their fleet with new technology and features. One of RadioMobile's major strengths is the ability to upgrade our clients' existing equipment, and speed their adoption of high performance technologies, with minimal interruption in their businesses and services."
