GTX's gpVector Tracking Device Receives FCC Certification
Los Angeles CA (SPX) Aug 13, 2008 GTX, the developer of the gpVector module, a groundbreaking GPS/GSM/GPRS tracking solution offering a miniaturized product profile with exceptionally accurate and sensitive positioning awareness, has announced that the FCC has granted full certification for the device. Now offering one of the smallest and lightest devices of its kind, GTX Corp is developing a comprehensive service offering for prospective licensees, centered on the first of its custom 2-Way GPS hardware solutions. Attaining FCC certification for a non-cell phone product having wireless and GPS capabilities to be worn on or near the body is something of a rarity, as evidenced by the scarcity of such devices in the market place today. This certification will now set the stage for the rapid expansion of the GTX Corp GPS/PLS platform. Cellular transmission services are provided by the company's wireless carrier partner, AT and T, to deliver real-time geographic coordinates, rendered on Google Maps, to subscribers via secure internet connections.
